San Francisco Wedding Photographer

San Francisco Wedding photographer: San Francisco is a magical place- there is no doubt about that! Everybody who had a chance to be here at least for a while knows, that there is no other spot on earth like this one. Places are people and people are places, and I was very lucky again to had a chance to spend half of the day with absolutely amazing couple Tanya and Marcin. They love the city of San Francisco, live and work here and want to pursue their dreams not in Los Angeles, not in New York but right here! And I am not surprised at all :)

Engagement shoot in San Francisco

Everything started two years ago when I had a privilege to document another amazing wedding in Warsaw, Poland (just waving to Tamara and Adam right now :), and met Tanya and Marcin there as wedding guests in beautiful venue Amber Room. You can only imagine how sad I was when they asked me few months later if I would like to be their San Francisco wedding photographer .. Unfortunately I had the date already booked for another destination wedding in Europe. The thing was that I always wanted to shoot a wedding in San Francisco Bay Area so much, and when the opportunity showed up on the horizon, I could not do it.. Well, that’s just part of the game I thought, and decided to suggest “before the wedding” session. Tanya and Marcin liked and were very open to this spontaneous idea. It turned out to be very easy to organize the logistic preparations and we had so much fun hanging out in the city and shooting. I have said that many times before, but let me say this again: one of the brightest sides of a destination wedding photographer’s work is meeting amazing people, and I am so grateful for that! Can not imagine doing anything else at the moment. Truly love everything about my work.

Pre- wedding session by San Francisco wedding photographer Luke Sezeck

san francisco wedding photographerWe started our walk with a cup of coffee from Philz Coffee Shop in South of Market District and just gat lost a bit on the streets. After few spontaneous warm-up portraits in Huntington Park we moved to Presidio District where found at lest few amazing spots with a Golden Gate Bridge in the back, but much more than that. Eventhough the day was extremely windy we managed to locate few cosy and intimate spots under the trees with an incredible light creating nice and moody climate. After that was done we looked forward to heading Marin Headlands. I had some expectations from that location after doing some location scouting before, but that day this spot surprised me again. There is a small tunnel going under the hilly area and you can easily get to the other side of it. While on city side the wind was crazy as hell, after getting on the other side we found incredibly calm and peaceful view on the surrounding hills (Golden Gate National Recreation Area), and that was such an amazing moment! Just could not imagine a better mood for the photos. For the golden hour shots we got back on the other side to have both hills and the ocean in the background. What an awesome cherry on the top for a San Francisco wedding photographer! Tanya, Marcin- thank you so much!
